Yes, with a USB-C adapter in DP-alt-mode which has DisplayPort or HDMI out, and at least two USB ports you could connect a monitor, wired keyboard and mouse at the same time to your Librem Phone. The adapter can also charge the phone.

Librem 5 has M.2 slot for a baseband module, so it is a potential for “upgrade” (with additional antennae upgrade). But at the moment only 4G modems are available.

Will the Librem 5 run coreboot and have the Intel ME neutralized?

The Librem 5 is not Intel-based, it is based on an i.MX 8M chipset, so we don’t need coreboot nor the Management Engine. The chipset will be completely free software without any binaries whatsoever!

For phone calls, email, web browsing, there will be no issues with switching, if you rely upon native applications that are not yet supported, you may need to use HTML5 applications (Social Media, News, Banking), or consider alternatives (e.g. Riot.im vs. Signal).

Not natively. But there is an isolation layer (aka “emulator”) that we successfully tested: Anbox. We do not officially support Anbox, however we worked on our software to allow Anbox to run smoothly on Librem 5. Also we can not commit to provide any support for Android apps themselves.
