Purism is seeking to have an on-site Shipping & Inventory Technician.

Scope of Work

We are looking for a team member with experience and a passion to help create and deliver respectful hardware.

Duties:

• Oversee the inventory of computer parts and supplies.
• Procure and order necessary parts and supplies.
• Track incoming orders and coordinate with assembly for fulfillment.
• Generate and print shipping labels and documentation.
• Foster and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Assist customers with specialized shipping requirements.
• Collaborate with DHL and USPS to resolve shipping challenges.
• Work in conjunction with remote support staff and developers.

Skills:

• Intermediate proficiency in computer hardware or higher.
• Familiarity with Debian-based Linux distributions.
• Certification in international and hazardous shipping is a plus.
• Eagerness to expand knowledge in these areas.
