We feel that we can protect end-users of our products better when we have tighter control on our supply chain which would obviate the use of production in countries unfriendly to America and/or countries known not to care about human rights, and individual freedoms.

Purism’s focus on privacy and production in America also has it’s benefits in today’s tariff environment, but this is a by-product of our focus on security and not necessarily has much to do with day to day, macroeconomic causes. We started US manufacturing of technology in 2018 and will continue because of the overwhelming benefits of having a secure supply chain, US employees overseeing that supply chain and manufacturing, as well as expanding our overall offering with more Made in USA technology products.
